How Easy 40 works

Ontario students need 40 hours of community involvement to graduate. Easy 40 helps you find local volunteer work and understand where to apply. It makes the search less confusing so you can spend more time actually helping.

Compare the date, location, hours, and age requirements before you choose.

How sources are chosen

Easy 40 links to direct organization pages and lists opportunities shared by local organizations. Every organization runs its own application process. Check its age rules, commitment, and your school’s eligibility requirements before you apply.

Who’s behind this

E

Easy 40 was built by Edwin, a grade 10 student in Ottawa, after watching classmates struggle more with finding and provingtheir hours than with the volunteering itself. Friends of his lost hours they had genuinely earned — not because they lost the form, but because nobody was free to sign it when the shift ended and they never went back. Good organizations are also just hard to find. Easy 40 fixes the boring part so the showing-up part is all that’s left.

“Get the hours. Skip the headache.”
